Small Pin Vise: 4½" pin vise has reversible collets at each end giving a range of holding from 0" to 1/8". Use to hold short mandrels or tungsten rods.
Large Pin Vise: A three jawed chuck, similar to that on a drill, mounted to a contoured wood handle. Designed to work with tungsten rods, stainless steel rods, carbon rods or even to hold short glass rod ends up to a little large than 1/4" (7 mm) diameter. Keeps fingers from getting burned and gives you better leverage than just holding the rod.
