Osibin Lentil Shapers

The original four-profile Osibin Lentil Shaper has long been a favorite for creating a wide variety of lentil bead shapes and sizes. The new, larger Lisa Fletcher Lentil Shaper expands on that design with two larger curve profiles, making it ideal for producing larger-scale lentil beads while also offering excellent control for creating lower-profile curves on smaller beads.

Unlike traditional mashing tools that simply press glass between two fixed curved surfaces, each profile in this shaper features a unique contour. By working the softened glass within the mold, artists can create an almost unlimited range of bead diameters and profiles.

To use, heat one side of the bead and shape the softened glass in the mold, then repeat on the opposite side. The bead quickly develops a smooth, symmetrical lentil form with remarkable ease and precision.
