Enamels are densely colored, soft melting glass that can be rolled or sifted onto the surface, encased, or kneaded into glass to color it. You can also mix colors together to create new colors.
Two grain sizes available. The standard and popular 80 mesh, is a very fine frit and powder-like. The coarser 6 to 20 blend mesh frit is comparable in size to other glass company's medium to large frit sizes.
Effetre (Moretti) compatible - 104 COE: The 9000 series contains 46 colors, 32 opaque and 14 transparent.
Bullseye and Spectrum Compatible - 90 to 96 COE: The 7000 and 8000 series contains 43 colors, 34 opaque colors (7000 Series) and 9 transparent. colors (8000 Series).
Enamel Sifters come in three sizes and are used to apply a controlled sprinkle of enamel.
Enamel Marking Pens are a ball point pen with vitreous enamel ink. Write or draw directly on metal, glass or previously fired enamel surface and fire to make permanent. Available in black, white and A-5 oil. After marking directly on metal, over-sift a coat of flux or light transparent before firing. After marking directly on a glass or fired enamel surface, dry and fire with or without an over-sifting. After marking with the A-5 oil, either on metal, glass or a fired enamel surface, sift with any color. Tilt the piece and let excess enamel fall off, leaving a distinct line of color.
